MarcVanParys TexZeppelin PID2018Marc Van Parys obtained his PhD in Chemistry and has held professorships at Technical University Ghent, as well as Ghent University. He has been heading the Textile and Research Department at the Textile Training and Development Centre TO2C. Marc is the president of the Belgian Textile Association, Unitex, and founder of textile consultancy, TexZeppelin.

He is a lecturer at the Fachhochschule Düsseldorf for Retail Design and is a speaker at various retail conventions.

KatharinaJebsen PID2018Katharina Jebsen is a freelance designer, researcher, author and lecturer. She studied Textile Design at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle, Germany. Her selected publications, exhibitions and awards include “Textile Design – From Experiment to Series”, “DesignMarch Reykjavik”, “Grassimesse”, wall hanging for Bauhaus Foundation Dessau and the “Newcomer finalist German Design Award” in 2015.

VeenaSarojiniamma IIJ PID2018Veena Sarojiniamma has been working in inkjet printing industry for the last 16 years, and has made contributions in printhead development, inks and inkjet printing. Veena has led several product development processes from concept through to testing and implementation; one of the key contributions was in the development of Xaar 1001. Currently she works as Ink Application Scientist at Industrial Inkjet Ltd, where she is responsible for qualifying inks with Konica Minolta printheads. Veena holds a Masters in Physics and a PhD in Materials Science and has published several research articles in international journals as well as co-authoring a patent on piezo-electric actuators.
